Barbecue with the Thayers

We started off by going to Grandma's farm, then off to Leland for the family barbecue.

 POOL FUN!
A. Debbie and U. Denny have a pool in their backyard and boy did the kids love it!
My only regret is that I didn't take more pictures.  Almost all of Harley's relatives were
there from his mom's side and I missed getting pictures of half of them.  Next time!
Cousin Geno was throwing the kids off the diving board, they were having a blast!
They swam all afternoon and slept the whole way home.  What a day!  It was so much
fun!  Thanks Aunt Debbie for getting us all together!

Build*A*Bear Workshop

Grandma Katie treated all the grandkids (and of course Amanda and Weather) to Build'A'Bear for all their birthdays. It was the first time for our girls and they were beyond excited. They were getting pumped up all week and asking all sorts of questions.  It was cute.

 Decision, decisions
We gave Kayla 30 minutes to pick out the one she wanted and.....
it took her all 30 Minutes!

They're all in line getting their bears filled.
They put their foot on a pedal and it makes the machine go.

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVERYONE!!!!!
Weather, Kayla, Logan, Danielle, Marcus,Amanda and Lydia

Mom's pine tree

This is the pine tree we planted in memory of Mom.
We wanted to make sure we got a picture of it so we can see it grow in the years to come.

This is the disc basket that we planted the tree by.
Couldn't resist getting a picture of the girls in it.

The Moore Family Barbeque

We had a little family get-together at Tim and Katie's. It's always great to see Angie's family along with Grandma Sue! The cousins had a blast playing together and we ended the afternoon with a huge water fight. Super fun!

The Michigan Dunes

We have been going to Warren Dunes Michigan State Park for as long as I can remember. I have great memories camping there during my childhood, going on day trips, meeting up with friends and going with the youth group. It's a great beach right on Lake Michigan with plenty of fun to be had!

A great picture with Grandpa Tree and all the Grandkids!
Lydi, Kayla and Cousin Emma

The girls with their momma. Malia was a little angle and took a great nap in her stroller
Fun on the beach!
The water was about 74 degrees so the kids mostly played in the sand down by the water. The older girls loved getting in the water and swam for quite some time. Especially Emma!

Having fun with the clay. There is a little stream that lets out into the Lake and the sides of the stream are covered with clay. The kids love painting themselves and each other. Emma planted me with fingerprints the minute we got back there.

COUSINS
The Camp kids (my brother's kids)
The Heater family (my sister)

Harley was working so it was just me and my girls.
It was a great day! The adults were definitely out numbered and we only lost Kayla once but all in all we had a wonderful day.
